Science NECAP testing
All 8th grade students will be participating in Science NECAP Tuesday, May 15 through Thursday, May 17. Please try to avoid being absent during this time. All 8th graders must participate in NECAP and therefore will have to make-up all sessions upon returning to school from being absent.

Reminder from the Nurse....6th grade students should be turning in copies of current physical exams and updated immunizations NOW, as required for entry into 7th grade! As mandated by the RI Department of Health physicals must be dated no earlier than August 2011. As always feel free to contact me with any concerns.

- Reminder: We are in the final days of ordering yearbooks. Please turn in your form with payment or complete the online form as soon as possible.
- On Friday, May 18th Student Council will be hosting an outdoor Movie Night. We will be showing Thor. The event will run from 7-10pm and tickets are $5. Tickets will be sold as follows in advisory: Grade 6- today
- There will be a Quidditch match Friday, May 18th after school. All members should meet in room 308 after school. New members are welcome. Don't forget your water bottle. Also, you must wear shoes to play this week.

- Attention all National Junior Honor Society May Fun committee members. There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, May 16th from 2:15 to 2:45 in room 350. Please see Miss Brooks with any questions.
- Tickets for the Middle School Spring Concert on May 16th will be on sale during lunches 1 and 3 and from the music office. Tickets are $5 and checks should be made payable to North Smithfield Middle School.
