Open House

The Middle School would like to invite all parents and guardians to an Open House on September 13th from 6:00PM-8:00PM.  We have scheduled several different presentations for you to view.  The teachers from your child’s team will be available at the following times and locations for a presentation on the upcoming year.

6:10     Lightning Bolts in the cafeteria

            6:40     Wildfires in the cafeteria

            7:05     Tsunamis in the cafeteria

            7:30     Nor’easters in the cafeteria

Teacher’s classrooms will be open all night.    There will be handouts available in each teacher’s classroom.   Our elective teachers such as Art and Technology Education will have some wonderful displays for you to view.    Our Physical Education teachers are asking that some brave parents wear their sneakers and try out some of our fun exercise activities.

First Day of School

The students first day of school is Thursday, August 30th.    Just a reminder that  the student's day starts at 7:20 and ends at 2:05.   Student schedules are available for viewing on the Parent Portal.   We will have list in the foyer for students on the first day should they not know their homeroom.

All incoming 6th graders will report to the gym where they will sit with their homeroom classmates.    The 6th grade teachers will meet the students in the gym and walk them to their classes to get them settled.

If you are dropping off your student please follow the drop off protocol.   Drivers need to take a right turn upon entering the parking lot and drive around the side parking lot, dropping students are the curb near the cafeteria.    Please do not pull up to the main doors.   This creates a traffic and safety issue with many cars trying to turn around.

Parents picking students up should park in the side lot near the softball field.   All students being picked up will exit through the cafeteria to that lot.

See you soon
