2/16/12
- There will be a mandatory Science Olympiad meeting today in room 310 until 3:00. Please see Miss Dupre if you cannot attend.
- There will be a volleyball skills clinic in the gym from 2:30-4:00 every Monday and Thursday starting after vacation. All students are welcome to attend and experience is not required. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Bednarczyk in room 305.
- Attention Yearbook members. The next meeting will be Monday, March 5th. In the meantime, photographers please continue to take pictures.
- North Smithfield High School now has a varsity boy's and girl's lacrosse team! Prepare now for your high school lacrosse team during February break and throughout the winter at Wide World of Sports. All North Smithfield students will receive a $25 discount off clinics. - There is a very important meeting of the Math Counts team today in room 208. We will be discussing the details of the upcoming competition. Please make every effort to attend.

- Just a reminder: For the safety of our students we ask that parents please drop off/pick up their child on the cafeteria side of the middle school. When entering the parking lot, turn right and circle the lot before dropping your child off at the sidewalk on the side of the building. When picking up in the afternoon, please turn right into the lot near the cafeteria. Please wait in a parking spot until your child arrives at your vehicle. Please do not drive up to the front of the building to drop off or pick up your child. It is safer and more efficient if all students are dropped off and picked up on the cafeteria side of the building. It reduces the traffic in front of the building where many of the students and faculty will be entering, thus making it safer. Thank you for your cooperation.

- The Lost and Found in the gym locker room and cafeteria will be donated to charity at the end of the day, Friday, February 3rd. It is your responsibility to claim your items before then.

- National Junior Honor Society Urgent Notice!!! There was an error on the permission slip for the NJHS community service trip to the St. Antoine Assisted Living Center.
